Hello,

I am confused because much of what I have read states that it is a misconception that the left and right eyes are connected to different hemispheres of the brain but rather that it is the 'field of vision' of each individual eye that is split into left and right sides and that these are then processed by different hemispheres.

This is in direct contradiction to what you are saying here.
