I am in my last year of my primary teaching course at a University in Australia. I have been extremely interested in brain gym since first hearing about it in a secnd year course and have decided to do it for my teacher research project.
However, I am struggling to find information and research available in Australia. I do have the Dennison's 'Brain Gym: Teachers edition' and an article written by Deborah Stevens-Smith on brain games but thats about it.
My focus question is 'Can the use of brain games in the classroom increase student engagement?'
Is there any information available online or that can be sent to me? I am happy to pay postage for journal articles etc., but as a poor uni student can not afford to pay for some of the books that are available from over there.
